Aldaco’s Alamo City Watermelon Margarita

Delightfully refreshing and oh so easy – Salud!

  • 1 tablespoon Wholesome Sweeteners Organic Blue Agave
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3 tablespoons Partida Tequila Blanco
  • 2 tablespoons fresh watermelon juice (see method below)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • Ice

Dilute agave with the water. Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake softly about 12 times. Serve in a chilled martini glass.

For the watermelon juice:

  • 2 cups diced watermelon

In a blender, pulse watermelon at medium to high speed. Strain and reserve pulp. Place pulp in jar and add enough of the watermelon juice to form a mash. It should be a smooth, evenly textured mixture.
