The Venice Boardwalk is famous for the people watching it provides. However, with all the interesting subjects it provides, things can get a little overwhelming. As we walked back from lunch at Library Alehouse we avoided the boardwalk and took a parallel street most of the way until we got to the alley which would lead us to where I parked my car.
There was something about this woman walking from the boardwalk that caught my eye. It was in this moment that the noise of the boardwalk went away and a calming silence overtook the cacophonous boardwalk in the background. The stillness of the space and abundance of monochrome battling saturated greens and bits of red added to this decisive moment.
