This is the view from my hotel room at the Grand Hyatt Dubai. It’s the Dubai Creek and their fully automated Dubai Metro (seriously, no one controls the trains). But if you ask me, it’s Tatooine with some sort of space craft launching system in the middle.

Tatooine (/ˌtætuːˈiːn/) is a fictional planet and setting for many key scenes in the Star Wars saga, appearing in every Star Wars film except The Empire Strikes Back, although it is mentioned at the end of the movie. Since it is the home planet of Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker, it is one of the mosticonic planets in the Star Wars universe.
