I had the wonderful chance tonight to watch and listen for one of my favorite singer/songwriters. Jonny Lang came to Columbia as part of the Blue Note’s Summerfest 2008 free outdoor concert series.

His performance was stellar and for once, so was the lighting.

I have never experienced a singer go about his performance with such passion and vigor. I hope to have captured some of that emotion in the shots from the concert. The titles of these pictures come from song titles off his CD’s. Clearly there was no red light involved in this shot.
