This is the view from my kitchen in San Francisco and it is absolutely stunning. It makes doing dishes a pleasure instead of a chore. This was specifically true for the evening this photo was taken. A bright waxing gibbous moon shines in a cornflower and periwinkle sky cascading to jasmine yellow and thulium pink before terminating into the grey landscape of distant hills.
I’ll never get used to this scene and it serves as a reminder to me that despite the rough day I may have had, the end is what I make of it and what it makes of itself.
