Rolling Fields of Green

This is a photo I feel very connected to. In it lies so much opportunity for imagination to run wild. It feels otherworldly while still grounded in familiarity. I sometimes find myself gazing for great period of time, searching for something I can’t quite grasp.
I saw this scene as we were leaving Mount Tamalpais State Park and had to stop to get a picture. It reminded me of the image I have in my head of what the rolling hills Ireland must look like. Only of course in this case that’s the Pacific Ocean in the background not the Celtic Sea.
